Styroflex / PolyStyrene Capacitor Substitute in Tektronix 'Scope

Hi guys i'm facing a slight issue that is driving me up a wall.
My "oldschool" (still solid-state) Tektronix 2336YA gave up.

The failure point I have observed is documented in the photo below.
[photo="medium"]4207[/photo] Capacitor C108 ( .005 uF 200v) failed dead-short and R113 released it's last breathe!

I can order the replacement for R113 (1.6k Ohm)
In lieu of a n.o.s. "Styroflex" (polystyrene) capacitor, would I be okay using a ceramic disc or PET/Mylar type capacitor? I really just want to get it going again as soon as possible.

This oscilloscope may be older than I, but I don't want to stray so far off the original components that it needs a re-alignment just to function reasonably again.

As long as the operating voltage is the same or better than the original part. The ESR might be important since they used a wrapped capacitor. So I don't think a ceramic disc capacitor will work.

Like Tallman said, you can always replace with something better but ceramic disc types are the cheapest quality types you can get generally. They may not work well in some applications.

I wont be putting any ceramic disc type in the oscilloscope now, thank you guys.

I have found a lead for some capacitors (n.o.s.) so i'm going to have to wait on the delivery.
