I have one. When my RCi 29702n was in for repair I hooked to my antron99 and talked skip with it. Nice little radio but Im thinking about selling it.

Cherokee AH100 - The Cousin

I have two of the Cherokee AH100 SSB walkie talkies. One is sitting in the original box. The other is getting lots of use in every way imaginable. With a 4foot telescoping antenna, it can talk to the world with me sitting in my back yard or while I'm standing here on a sand bar in the Keys.

With a headset and my trusty 30 year old magnetic mount, it gets used all the time in the mobile. At home, I have a Turner +3 base mic that was wired with the mini-plug. People on the other end of my QSOs are shocked to find out that they are listening to a walkie talkie.

Bottom line: you can do just about everything with these walkie talkies. They truly are like having three radios - portable, mobile and base - in one.

Got to admit "cute" little thing...however thing only thing I would use it for would be 10m AM/FM....So would not need to stick a hot soldering iron to a plastic radio....
So $200+ USD seems a little much....have and old Uniden from 20 years ago does same thing just fine and paid $25 for it
