I have 10 meter Super Scout Amplifier. It has (4)– 6JG6 and (8) – 6LQ6 tubes. Does anyone know anything about this amplifier? If anybody has any documentation on this I'd like to know more about it. Like how much to drive it with and so forth.

Thanks,
Kirk

The setup you have listed should be drivable to full output with 25 watts of audio on sideband. If you use it on AM, between 2 and 4 watts dead key and 30 watts of audio. If everything is in good shape and tuned right it should do close to legal limit on 10 meters.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
