My 3900HG currently covers 25 something to 28.3 Can the band spread be modified to cover more of the 10 meter and less of the lower stuff. Maybe just jump up 1 band to cover to 28.8 . I've heard about crystal changes or can this be done with a jumper.? I'd rather cover 26.965 (ch 1) to the 10 meter band. I don't use any low channels.

Any help would be good.

Thanks

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
