AKA Stabo XF 9082. Looks like a export/knock off copy of a TS 570 https://www.worldwidedx.com/threads/superstar-4900b.24338/
terrible radio ..both the stabo version and the superstar version ..have both
the stabo has a few things different to the superstar
neither will tx/rx across the whole coverage of the radio (when extended) and are not really widebanded in the rf chain ..better left as a 40 channel radio and peaked for performance there (although not stellar even when thats done)
neither of them produce decent modulation in any mode..all the mods you see on line for them are junk
receive sucks
real pity as the interface is good
"power supply" sucks in them its a raw dc supply just a transformer and diode bridge with a cap and relies on the regulation in the main chassis to regulate the dc..
better off replacing with a small 6 amp switcher and even then the radio runs hot as poor air circulation (i added a 4 " fan inside one after deleting the transformer and running it off a eternal supply )
yeah looks "like a 570" but thats just pure coincidence nothing more
