Well after reading articles about different Radios I was wanting a new toy. I have a General Lee with clean audio and a Stryker 440HP and it has clean audio. I Went and ordered the Superstar SS-158EDX from Sparkys CB Shop today. I like the looks of the radio and read these post on the board here and with all the good stuff I have read about Sparkeys service and reputation of putting magic in a radio. I hope it sounds and operates as good as my other two radios, If other people know anything about this radio please let me know, I am excited to see how it performs.

If you a Sideband user Ide ask around and check on how it sounds or works on SSB I know some of these radios are pretty raspy sounding

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
