I've purchased two Bulldog RDC-90 switching power supplies/ battery chargers from Rivergate Distributing Center. The owner, David, is a true gentleman with a witty sense of humor. One of his technicians, Tom, is a licenced ham operator with a great disposition to share his vast technical knowledge. Tom is currently involved in the active design and manufacturing of stealth antennas for 80 and 40 meters (true marvels of engineering) that will serve the under-represented group of radio operators living in restricted residential areas. I witnessed the bench-test of each PS, which is reportedly performed prior to shipping. I was given hints to extend durability and made privy to the reason why there are no on-off switches on these units. I will follow up this post with an operational report after receiving and connecting the amp for which these units were purchased.
