Swapping out stock mic...what to get???

I am tired of the stock mic...real cheesy/cheap feeling...plastic, VERY lightweight etc...

Don't know much about mics at all...what do ya'll suggest?? BTW, this is for the setup in my sig...

PSD,

I have used the D104M6B for years and have always gotten good reports on the audio. It is also made in the M6C version which is all chrome. Others may suggest one of the noise canceling mikes but in a PU I haven't had any reason to try one of those. JMHO

Thanks for the tip...this one seem to be the popular choice...are there any differences between the M6B and the M6C other than the color of the outside of the case?

just the color and one cost about 5 to 10 dollars more for that fancy chrome look ...performance is the same
