talkback hookup

how can i hook up talkback on a TRC-495

I'm not familiar with that exact model..... what kind of radio is it and what kind of features does it have?
Like is it a ssb radio? Or just AM?

Those are nice little AM bases and will tune up very nicely. what you can do for talkback is this (beings there no P.A. jack) , Take a 100 ohm resistor and attach it to the ground side of the front firing speaker on that unit to the boards ground, Walla !! you have talkback !! (you can add a little wire to it if it doesn't reach the board) high ohms for less or lower ohms for more talkback volume , there's other ways to do it but that should work in a pinch.
