I ordered this radio instead of the 880. Why, well it's the survivalist in me I guess. I've got a bunch of AA Batteries. Looks like a fine radio. I think I read all of the comparisons, and the 660 won over.

I've never had a SW Radio. I've listened to it on SDR Online, and some on my Icom 7300.
I plan on using the PL 660 camping, and on my back porch when I'm not in the shack. Absutley can't miss the shenanigans on 75 meters. No way! Lol.
