The ALL NEW Texas Ranger-129TA is the lastest special addition radio on the market. The new Alarm Time 6 section switch is used to set the alarm time from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Each section contains 30 minutes. When the timer reaches a set time, a bell ringing will output from the speaker, and last for 30 minutes, then stop automatically.

Radio/ Radio + Alarm/Alarm Switch: In the RADIO position, it is the normal recieve status. In the RADIO+ALARM position, the alarm timer will function while the radio is working. The timer set by the ALARM TIME SW starts counting and when it reaches a set time, the bell will ring. In the ALARM position, it is only the alarm timer function, and there is no receive signal output from the speaker. Texas Ranger-129TA - CB Radios Plus

i agree , but i thought id post about it so those that may like a timer will know . and those that dont can rip on it . ;)

I can see that new feature being as popular as a fart in an astronauts space suit, what a waste of a good switch.

If that's the best RANGER RCI can come up with they're doomed.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
