What is the proper way to check the 2290 transistors in this? i have both the digitel & analog meters,,,,,,,seems like you unsolder one end of them ,but cant remember,,,,or do you remove them from circut to check pls. hlp..............
 

Just lift the basis of the transistor.

Then mesure from basis to collector and then basis to emittor.

You should measure 2 diodes, one way about 600 Ohms, the other way very high resistance.

Meter on resitor value, or if it has the diode function, use that one.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
