TH D72 kenwood battery question

On the back of the handheld it has 4 connecters for a rapid charger.
They are labled - T S + I was going to build a rapid charger I know what the + and - are but what is T and S ?

I'm not sure, but,................... I "think" the T is where the charger's battery overtemp protection is monitored
