My Favorite Radio back in the Early 90s was the Galaxy Saturn,great base station swinging 25 watts on SSB hooked up to a Antron 99, my other current favorites are a Uniden 980 and my new used mobile base Ranger 2950 soon to be hooked up to a brand new Antron 99!!

I enjoyed the Excalibur...had a neighbor that owned one - always wanted one like it.

But then a PC-122 makes a nice little radio for a "Book Nook" shelf.

For what I have owned I think the Ranger AR3500 (100w) was my favorite and sounded great with a turner +3. I also have a soft spot for 2510's and cobra 139xlr's
