good info for reference your local...for best RX looks like 450/850 MHz antennas would be cool to have outdoors

I went with the SDS100, it's a snap to set up out of the box... if you want to scan so much you never hear anything. It really shines when you take the time to learn how to use the favorites. There is a steep learning curve, but still, it's not a radio I'll outgrow anytime soon.
