Thinking about buying a Uniden 980SSB Radio???

I'm thinking about buying this for a secondary Radio
to My Cobra 2000 GTL I Plan on using it mainly for the Scan
feature. Little Trasmitting To use more or less as a CB Band-Scope if you will...LOL...
It will be hooked up to my Solarcon A-99 with a Duplexor.

Does it look like a good Radio for My indended Purporse????

I would add that you should buy the radio from a place that does quality tech work. This way the radio gets tuned & aligned correctly and then shipped once and your done. This guy has many options for the new Uniden radio's.

Just make sure you run dualantennasbecause dualantennas perform better than single ones. Dualantennas work even better on sideband.
