Yeah I've got one of these and played around with it for a while. Now it sits in my garage, not being used. Thought about putting another radio in the unit but it does work fine lol. They are neat.

I picked up 8 at an auction, all work fine but only came with one power cord. I'm thinking of unloading them on Ebay.

I’m curious to know what radio they are using inside that older (much larger) version. I’m assuming it’s another Uniden Model. These are some photos of a little newer version. Basically it’s a 510xl. As you can see, the channel selector has been replaced with an internal recorder board and a more modern controller.
