Isn't Right Channel radio affiliated with radioactive radios? The reviewer sounds like a teenager and he likes the radio. Bullet proof, well respected, and reliable???? If you put a Christmas bow on a turd, it's still a turd.

The receive is really nice on these radios; but forget about the SSB and AM output or modulation. Not the same as the original 148. A pain in the butt to fix and there are a number of weird things that may need fixing/go wrong over time. Not your Daddy's 148 . . .
