That reminds of my good old days. When a four wheel drive truck was needed for work and not a status symbol. I had an ugly truck painted school bus yellow 4X4 with extra heavy duty bumpers for crashing through brush. I paid two hundred dollars for it with a blown engine, and I got the engine he was going to put in it. A used 340 cuin with a six pack on the intake for an additional One Hundred and 50 dollars. I had the truck running in a week and installed 40 channel Johnson am/ssb and co-phased 102" S.S. whips that would thump every under pass if I was driving less than 45 mph. I had almost as much money in the radio system as I did the truck.
Yes I was a cheap bastard back then too.
