So again experts what makes up the CP-1 and MD-1 parts wise? What are they doing? How does it do what it is doing? Why should anyone want or not want what it is doing? Why do you like it? Why do you not like? Can it be improved upon? How can it be improved upon?
Why has it been left alone and really nothing been done with it or about it discussion wise. It appears you can still purchase them all over the place including from Bob's amoungst many other places. They are dirt cheap between $9 and $15.
So I can think of a few reasons. 1) It is not understood by the experts on the site. 2) The experts feel threatened by said device. 3) The insanely low price point threatens promit margins on other mods offered by those in the industry. 4) Experts think other mods are better.
You know why you can rule out 4? If it was 4 they would not shut up about how much better their modification of choice was and why it is better! It would have so many comments and pages a moderator would have to lock it because it would be over 300 pages long. LOL
If it is bad exactly in detail why is it bad.
It is a nothing burger you would think the MD-1 or CP-1 worked for the DIA actively and where having their internet foot print actively erased real time.
All we ever get it "Top Gun is good" or Top Gun is Bad" or "Top Gun is opposite of clean" surely with the insane brain trust and insnae number of very intelligent and experinced technicains and experimenters on this site we can get better than that! Something a bit more arrticulate(sp)!
