I have a tr 696fd-1 I am in need for a 10khz slide for this radio not the 10khz jump I think that loose cannon if I remember right a few years back gave me the mod for the 10khz slide for the radio & I cant find it in my mess can anyone help me out with the mod? thanks in advance for any help with the 10khz slide

IIRC, jump R114.
But don't remember for certain; only did it once or twice to experiment.

I've experimented with it and it works.
However because it will throw it way out of alignment, the loop oscillator will need to be re-aligned with a lab-grade freq counter to do it right.

I have never tried this mod myself because it is so hard to clarify a radio that slides 10khz.
