Can anyone help me out here? I want to use a 4 pin mic on this 6 pin radio.
Any info would be appreceiated, Thanks :thumbup1:
 

You'll need a wiring diagram (from RS or hand-drawn by yourself) and a multimeter to determine the PTT leads and the audio leads. The other two pins would be for the up/down buttons on the stock mike. You won't be able to do the up/down functions with the 4-wire mike.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
