it's the same new story, big box, little car.
I'm planning on setting it up in the trunk and using something along these lines-
AMETEK 12 Volt DC High Current Applications:
Power up relays to remove loads from Ignition Switches, Electric Cooling Fans,
and ,many more applications.
Insulated Ground
Normally Open Circuit Circuitry SPST
Contacts : Copper
Voltage Rating 12V DC
Terminals copper; 10-32 thread
and 5/16"-24 thread.
Continuous Duty Rating 100 Amp

and while I'm not worried if it will work or not, I'm wondering how well it will work.
I'm worried the relay may introduce some noise into my receive. I've got a orange lit magnum 257 so there's enough noise there already.

anyone do this?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
