Thinking of replacing my mirage88. Which hf would you recomend for best am. I know all are good on ssb and all can go freeband but I need to know which will give the best audio. I am leaning toward the Kenwood.

With the 100D you'll have to buy the AM filter. The TS50 will work good right out of the box, it has the 4:1 ratio every one likes. Like mentioned above if your looking for that loud (some may say splattering) signal on AM, stick with what you got.



You will get good reports on how good it sounds when it is quiet, but you will never get your named called out on the bowl........

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
