So I have owned 8 tube type amps in 20 years. I have never used one. Mainly due to lack of knowledge and experience. I have this Palomar I know nothing about. It does have tubes in it. Capacitors all look new. I have not plugged it in yet. I never plug anything in without thoroughly looking over it. My question is should I throw this thing in the parts pile or find someone who is interested in it... Is there a better quality of signal leaving tube type vs transistor type amps?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
