I was reading on this site CB World Informer October 2001 Web Edition. on how to tune up My General Lee. The site says quote: If all out maximum modulation is desired, TR37 can be removed. Both high and low power setting won't have any limiting. Over modulation will have to be controlled with the mic gain control: unquote. Is this a good thing to do? Please check the site it has another way to do it but I don't have the tools. Let me know what you think.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
