Last summer, in the middle of July, I decided to make use of a verbal invitation from Wiesław Kosinski, SP4Z, to visit his home and his Amateur Radio station in eastern Poland. We had met during an annual meeting of the Polish DX Club and later exchanged a couple of e-mail messages. I was in Poland in the summer of 2008 and wanted to visit one of the SNØHQ stations during the IARU HF Championship competition and SP4Z was one of them.
