Does anyone know how to widen the tx bandwidth of any cb to TX on all 40 channels with a low carrier? We have a problem child here in town that does nothing but key on people. He has been busted by the FCC and had his tower pulled down by a pickup. I know a business owner less than 1 mile from his location that said I could setup a small antenna and radio on his roof. He gets bleed over on his intercom when this moron fires down with over 2kw.
I just want somthing that will produce a "barage" effect.

Any ideas? We already tried 2 radios hooked to blinking christmas lights, but he still can hear between the keyups.

Wanting an ear plugger? I've heard you can simply solder a crystal across a 9v battery and it will throw a carrier for about a week. You could do one for the middle of the band like 27.195 (19A) Toss it in a bush in his yard...hide it somewhere in his yard, and it'll desense his receive across CB.

Now I've only heard that this will work before. Can anyone else confirm? This would be cheap. Crystals and 9v batteries are cheap.

No, it won't work, sorry 'bout that. Putting power through a crystal won't do anything at all except damage the crystal.

Well supposedly Dave Pastor of DaveMade New Jersey can make one.

If you would like I can help you get in touch with the right people. Just let me know.

Oh yeah, it's going to cost no less than 500.00 for a basic transmitter and I can't promise you that you will receive anything for your money. It's a Jersey thing.

Get a cheap walkie talkie and attach two six volt batteries to it. Put it in a plastic bag and tape the key down on it. Place it somewhere close to his house like under it, in a culvert by it, in a tree, etc. If the FCC has visited him already another call should get results. With the leadership being changed they have beefed up enforcement and violations. A repeat offender can spend time in jail if they don't conform or either be prohibited from operating any type of radio equipment.

Use a 27 MHz R/C transmitter with 102" of wire for an antenna.Re-rock it for the channel they use the most.If you use a battery pack made with D cells to match the voltage of the transmitter it should run good for at least a month.
