I want to buy a Little Tarheel.

Currently, on the rear of my Grand Cherokee, I have a 2" Breedlove UHF Puck mount. It is very solidly mounted. I am running my ATAS 120 without issue.

The Tarheel looks little beefier, but uses 3/8 stud mount. I looked around their website and didn't see any UHF versions.

Would you trust an adapter for this install?

I've used UHF-3/8 adaptors and had no issues. I'd run one on a permanent basis and be happy with it...but...I've never ran anything the size of a Little Tarheel.

That seems to me like an awful lot of antenna to have on top of an adaptor.

I run this one with everything from a 2m antenna to a home made HF antenna that is almost 10 feet long.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
