Last night there was a CTX hilltop event and 26(163)CTX965 Jason and CTX 104 Gary were up the Black Mountains in Wales approx 740M ASL. I was at about 250M ASL which is the highest I can practically get. There was reasonable tropospheric ducting conditions over the south of the UK and he hit me a wacking great S8 on AM mode from 143 miles away.... A great evening out with the Gain Master on 6M of pole.
