i havent heard of anyone putting the rx75 on these so was curious

Those are basically the same radios under the hood as a Cobra 25/29. Some people like the results, some don't.

Install information can be found for the Uniden 68 and the Uniden 78 very easily.

Here is the RFX-75 info page on CBTricks.com. You can compare the installs for the Unidens to the Cobras for yourself.

If you're looking for opinions, skip the RFX-75 and get a cheap 2-pill amp instead. It will out-perform the RFX-75 setup and will allow the amp to do the work and not the radio.

I have a Uniden PC68-Elite that I've run behind a TNT-350HD, Midnight Special 500 and RM Italy 300P, all at different time and it's worked well.

I called Doug at custom cb radios to ask if this mod could be done on a Cobra 25 LTD WX, the brother to the Uniden PC68LTW. One of his workers said it can be done, but they're all out of RFX75's right now. I guess they must be a popular hit with truck drivers who can't run linears.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
