Uniden 68 and Cobra 25 not the same thing. What is this little pcb.?

I had one of the pc68's. I believe the little board you are referring too is the dynamic squelch control board. The PC68xl should have a button that the Cobra doesn't labeled dsc. Hope this helps
 
Yes Sir, I figured it out after a little while, I appreciate your response.
(I couldn't find this thread to update it, lol)

I realized one of the (major) differences between the PC-66/Cobra 25 Vs. PC68XL was the Dynamic Squelch feature and the little SMT board in question is for that feature.

I cannot believe it's been two years in this hobby already, time flies!
