uniden 76xlw date question

I picked up a super clean unhacked unturned still has the plastic on the front 76 today for 20$ how do I know what year it is ? Seems like the 29 phillys had them on the plate in the back , but I've never had a Uniden and can't find it .

Look for the first digit of the serial....on Uniden and Cobras it's often the year the radio was built.
