I was given a Madison CB Radio to play with. Ok here is what I know after getting the power supply up and running.
There is a switch in the back connected to the main processor, I guess to switch the frequency's and there are a couple of components that are cut so My question is Why were the cut out of the circuit. They are R128 resistor and D52 diode. Also the channel 9 switch was made inactive. The radio does receive quite well but when I switch the back switch the frequency's change and when I go to channel 20 or above the radio sounds like it is changing the channels, kind of clicking noise like you get when you are changing channels on the the nob. Any ideas on what was done to the radio?
