Uniden PC66 swing

Hello all.



A buddy of mine has a uniden pc66 that he's fooling with. He wants to lower the deadkey and keep the same swing. Right now he deadkeys around 6-7 watts and swings to around 15-17.



I've done the cap/res mod to the cobra 29's with great success. If i'm understanding correctly, the uniden pc66 is much like the cobra 25. If so, has anyone had any luck doing the same to the uniden 66. Thanks for any help.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
