Uniden PC68XL tuning info?

Looking for the tuning and alignment information for a uniden pc68xl.

On the microphone is it the same wiring as a COBRA or GALAXY?

cobra and galaxy use the same mic wiring on there radios as long as it is the 4 pin plugs.

I'm thinking someone took out the diode for the modulation but I'm not sure where it would be? Adjusting VR5 does nothing.

Also it showing about 3 kcs high on freq. How can I get it back to where it needs to be?

Adjust VC1 to obtain 27.185MHz set on ch 19 using a frequency counter.

If TR14 is cut or missing, replace it with a 2SA733.

Or... if TR14 is ok, check that C70, D9, or R56 have not been clipped or removed.

Yup D9 was cut.

Where is VC1? Is it by the pll chip? I don't see anything labeled VC1.

VC1 is located behind crystal X1 which is just behind the pll chip (IC-3).
