I have a Uniden Pro340XL hand held radio and I would like to put a external mic on it. I was going to put a 4 pin plug on the side. What I need is the info on the switch for the PTT, which is TX and REC , I know where to hook the audio wire I just need the other info. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Also is there any mods to boost the modulation a bit?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
