However, if ANY of those coils are bare copper coils; then DO NOT alter them. The are part of the the 54mhz trap circuit. If altered, the watts may look higher on the meter; but they won't be on the freq you are using. There's a reason it is called a 'trap circuit'. Don't be fooled by the BS on the internet . . .
Only the right tuning cans should be tweaked for max power. I do know which diode is the limiter; but I would not choose to let loose yet another nasty sounding radio on the airwaves. Tuning the right can-type coils is a legitimate means to get more power. So is adjusting the final MOSFET transistor to a 3.9v gate voltage - if it does use a IRF520. So is turning up the modulation to ~100% . . .
