Just picked up a washington for $5 ..I was told not working what I have found ..the TX light switches when on ssb but not on Am.No output (will check finals) no recieve on Am however recieves perfect on ssb.I have some other parts from an old.142. Should I try to repair.does it.make.sense.i am willing to.try with some.help

I have made some head way I took my magnifying glasses and saw a jump trace.the radio is receiving and transmitting on ssb and Am .the only challenge I have is no Am modulation

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
