Does anyone know, Is a Uniden Washington as good at recieve as the Grant XL? I have a Washington but thinking of selling it for a Grant XL if it is better at recieve. Any experience on these radios would be highly appreciated.

If both are properly aligned correctly it should be about a draw.

tecnicoloco, Yea I remember you buying my grant. The Washington has the 5 pin mic I believe, I need to look. It is very close to mint and works same. I love it but love the grant too. It is stock, was never opened and tuned. I have the mounting brackets, hardware, manual and original mic. If it is as good a recieve I will prob keep it but I think I do like the grant xl looks better.
