unlocking clarifier on washington?

I am trying to find info on unlocking my clarifier. I have the pc385 board with the mb8719 pll. I find plenty of info for 858 pll, but not the 8719.

How about this ? ...........1)Cut d-52 and r-148.Find r-174 and solder a wire across the resistor.
2)Find the RED wire that comes off the clarifier control and cut it just before it connects to the PCB. Take that wire and solder it to GROUND on the PCB
3)Cut the orange wire just like the red wire but solder this wire to pin # 3 of IC-4 the MB3756 ic regulator. Should give you about 6 khz of slide

thanks jim, I will try that. not sure where IC-4 is but I will try it out, I will need to get me a schematic also for the pinout on the regulator so I get the right one. Does the pin just provide 8 volts?

nevermind, I found out about pin 3. I guess I will just check it with a meter before I solder her on there.

should be a constint 8 volts even after keying the radio.
