sooo, I decided to put my 6 ele 6 m quad on the tower for the upcoming weekend 'test.
I had it on a short pole attached to my 4 foot high chain link fence, the feedpoint was at about 6 feet. just to look over the antenna and make sure all the connections were tight and corrosion free.
anyway, today (Sunday) I attached a radio to check the VSWR, and,............. worked numerous stations in Az and Ca.<More audio>
some of the contacts think this is Es, but, I think it is "double-hop" F2
