Used Cobra 148 GTL on Fleabay


there was another front mic 148 for 249.00 the other day. have no idea why the seller thinks this radio is worth so much. those 148 radios are not that good. I have 2 of them and can not do much to them or they warble on SSB. that is a known problem with them.
 
The first thing you do with a new Chinese front mic 148 is throw out the mic.
The second thing is throw out the radio.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
