Adds 23 upper channels to a 23 channel radio that has the right two internal crystals. One for transmit and one for receive. The box switches between two crystals inside the box and the original two crystals in the radio.
A lot of 23-channel radios used a 11.730 crystal for receive and a 11.275 MHz for transmit. The 23-channel Cobra 29 worked with this gadget.
Of course some of those "upper" channels are now channels 26 to 40.
