i don't recommend any mast extending above the boom of the V Quad. for best results install the groundplane on a separate support structure and keep the two antennas at least 1 wavelength apart from each other, more is better.

any mast support extending above the boom and infringing on the open area inside the loops will destroy the fine characteristics of the V Quad.

Has anyone used a V-Quad base antenna and how good are they compared to the Marco vertical beam antenna, or a Dipole type antenna?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
