Hello
I am trying to replace a variable cap. According to the schematic it calls for a 0-15pf. I have a spare amp of the same kind that
at some point i will repair but for right now its for replacement parts. On the parts amp it has a E.F Johnson 167-2.
When i look for a replacement the only one i could find was on Ebay and its listed as a 167-0002-001 which on a catalog i found
part#167-2 with 3.5-27pf. A couple of questions are they all the same part? can i replace a 0-15 with a 3.5-27?
OR am i reading the numbers wrong? All i can go by is the schematic show a 0-15pf spec and my spare amp has what looks to be the same looking
part with 167-2 stamped on it but the one im working on has nothing on it. But they do look the same, I can not measure it as its broken in pieces. so i think this on is ok to buy https://www.ebay.com/itm/2750309373...d=link&campid=5336136228&toolid=20001&mkevt=1 Unless anyone tells me otherwise or where i can buy one cheaper. Sorry for babbling on.
