Virage vx-69

had a virage vx-69 handed to me a a garage sell

while looking at some old radio stuff little old lady came out with a export radio at which i thought was a galaxy at first
she said her husband bought it and had it on channel 19 and could never hear anything

so im looking for the channel modification and tune up procedure if anyone could please help me out

The conversion procedure is almost identical to the RCI 6300. I say almost, because the resistor that's to be removed doesn't seem to be present in the VX. I, too, would like to know the full procedure. I have been unable to get the info from any of my suppliers, so any info posted here would really be helpful.
