VK9XU Christmas Island

A group of German ops are active as VK9XU Christmas Island (IOTA OC-002) from Feb 18 - Mar 4. They have been active on CW, FT8, RTTY, and SSB. They seem most active on CW and FT8.

I was able to work them on 30m CW at 11:20 UTC and on 20m CW at 19:00 UTC. ATNO for me. #306

It is a tough path from the East Coast. I'm worked them over the pole with a beam heading of 15 degrees.

I worked them again yesterday on 15m CW at 12:10 UTC. They were loud but with polar flutter. Still easy to copy.

I requested a card via OQRS which also included an upload to LoTW. I received the LoTW confirmation this morning.

If you don't make a donation they will upload to LoTW "three months after the end of the DXpedition" I think that would be sometime in May.
