Sorry for the newbie question...

It looks like there are more memories than I can remember.

How do you arrange things so they are useful?
 

I travel a lot so I keep a lot of different regions. I keep regions in banks and each bank is alphabetically organized. I also give repeaters names that mean something to me, I don't list them by their calls.
 
I organize mine by band and then have special banks for various things. For example, I have one bank set up just for the satellites. I have another bank for my city's police & fire frequencies. For repeaters, I give them the names of their locations.

It's really just personal preference and what makes sense to you. This is also where having a piece of software like the RT Systems application really helps out. If you decide you want to move things around, it really makes it easy.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
