I want to build an amp using two mosfets. I have on hand two IRFZ46N Fets,
http://www.irf.com/product-info/datasheets/data/irfz46n.pdf
but can just as easily get a couple of IFR510 pieces. I've also got some parts salvaged from old Palomar TX100 that I wish I'd saved for possibly retrofitting with fets.
Would the IRFZ46N fets be suitable, or would the 510 fets be better? How many watts could I expect? If I could I would like to add a SSB delay.

Any links to such plans would be appreciated.

Those FET's are used and whether or not they are still good will be in doubt. FET's can be destroyed simply by handling them if proper static discharge precautions are not observed.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
